Iontach! (Brilliant!)
The Sewers of Paris is absolutely amazing! I've been a fan of Matt Baume and his Marriage Watch features on YouTube for ages so I was very excited to hear that he was going to have a podcast dedicated to the lives and influences of gay men. I love that the episodes include references to both America and Europe as well as a snippet of a show or song and I actually find myself saying, "Oh my God, I totally remember that Queer As Folk episode" or "that Eurovision song WAS amazing!" I admit now that one of my favourite pastimes is popping my headphones in, pour a cup of tea and stare out on a rainy Dublin day and absorb The Sewers of Paris- I highly recommend this podcast to everyone and it's now my mission to get all of Ireland listening to it as well. Go raibh maith a Mhait! (Thank you, Matt!)Read full review »

As someone who has two books which have influenced by gay ‘coming of age’, the concept of hearing others tell of their influences - whether literature, television, film, stage, music - is a joy. Look forward to many more episodes!
