excellent conversations between men
One of the few podcasts that I listen to every episode I download. These are intimate, warm, and intelligent conversations between gay men. This is a rarity in podcast as so many "gay" podcasts are about snarky, sexual innuendo between men. Nothing against that as I do the very same thing with some of my friends. But, The Sewers of Paris is a rare opportunity to hear gay men be more open and honest with each other. Matt Baume is particularly good as he knows how to keep the focus of the conversation on his guests while interacting with them in a casual and supportive way. I also appreciate that his choice of guests are interesting yet ordinary guys and not just the "gay glitterati". Right now one of my favorite podcasts.Read full review »

Matt Baume is super cute and smart and so wonderfully verbose. His interviewees are equally delightful. I learn something every episode. Please enjoy, and tell your friends to enjoy it, too.

Matt Baume generates so much great content, and this is no different. Discussion of sometimes-fluffy entertainment is the perfect handle for grasping the ugly parts of growing up a gay kid. Thanks and keep it up!
