“I actually enjoyed this in a strange way but I don’t know why! The protagonist is awful - egotistical and full of herself. Thinks everyone fancies her and if this is biographical, I really don’t think they would - I’ve seen photos of her and she’s a very plain Jane! Having said that, there was something compelling about it which pulled me in and made me want more.”
