I have enjoyed every single moment of this story. 5 years later. I shared this podcast to all my girlfriends.

Wish there were more episodes or more from the same production team

I found the production well done and creative. But then I found myself shaking my head far too often to enjoy listening. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, but who on earth has conversations like this? Watching a relationship grow and then go down in flames can be interesting and inspiring. Here, I...Read full review »

Really enjoyed the creativity and format of this podcast. I found it hard to relate to the main character, could be I’m the wrong age audience. Would try another podcast by this creator in the future.

I binged on the whole 6 episodes in an insomnia night... great!

With all due respect - I could not listen to this. It is cut in a way that makes it exhausting to listen to and the content is very 2021 in which I mean very post-modern and egocentric. I am special and I am interesting, me, me, me. I do not recommend this.

I listen to this every winter. So foreword thinking, produced with craft.

I can’t think of a piece of audio fiction that felt more intimate and closely-observed than The Shadows. It’s zany at times, deeply thoughtful, rich in its sound design, and totally worth your time. Looking forward to “Appearances,” the new show from Kaitlin’s Mermaid Palace podcast operation.

I binged this in a day. It’s amazing. I love the story and the audio quality. Great job Kaitlin! Update: I still think about this story from time to time. It will stick with you.

This podcast very easily shares the dilemma of a person, who is in a relationship but at the same time finds someone else attractive. There is a constant struggles between being with a stable, known partner or being in a life of excitement and ecstasy. The decision can always be different, there...Read full review »

Why aren’t there more podcasts like this? The narrative structure. The sound work. The relevance. It’s just so good.

Kaitlin Prest does it again!! This along with asking for it. These are the most interesting style fictional podcasts. Can’t wait for her next work. And the team rocks too of course. But something about Kaitlins voice. It’s soothing and interesting. Incredibly entertaining!!

Kjærlighetshistorie for deg som både vil ha romantikk på ørene - og samtidig ikke er redd for de vanskelige kjærlighetsspørsmålene.

So hard to listen to at times. Only because it dredges up feelings of longing and love that I remember now so keenly. I’ve been feeling kinda detached, lately. This helps reel be back into the land of the living. 👏🏼👏🏼

It’s hard to cheer for Kaitlyn sometimes but we are all imperfect and that’s what makes us human. Definitely worth listening to!

I found myself oddly captivated from the start. And then I kept agreeing, maybe even yelling, that’s so true! I related. I’ve been through the overly dramatic breakups of my twenties. Now I sit at forty, recently divorced, with time to reflect on the carnage that we call love and life. And like...Read full review »

This author is incredible. I love all her stuff. I listened to Asking For It first and found this gem through that. I am really in love with the raw emotion she conjures. This is so real; I identify with a lot of the problems her characters face. It’s an honest look at love and life that people...Read full review »

This breathtaking beautiful, heart-achingly honest observation of a love affair has left me feeling like I was at the heart of the story - why? Because it plays with all the unique things that make podcasting special and different from radio. I really think this has set a new high standard for...Read full review »

From one audio artist to another, thank you for this. It’s evocative, creative, and gracefully portrays so many different relatable perspectives on love, relationships, and the difficulty in navigating all of it. I feel like Normalizing Non-Monogamy should tag this as a resource for those...Read full review »

Overthinking, love crazy girl takes up puppetry. Well done, but listening to her obsessive, self absorbed thoughts continuously is a bit much.

Thank you for an excellent podcast, this series has been an excellent example of the format at it’s best. Hope there are future episodes, but only if the standards are maintained and not just ‘because’. Stick with the quality of script, music, acting, production et al... and well done!

If you like tv series like Love, Easy and similar on Netflix, you’re like me, the target audience of this podcast. The narrative and the characters of the history are amazing and I know it’s gonna be topic of discussions with my partners and friends.

I love the originality so much. Sound quality is amazing. Storyline is great. However. The kissing sounds go on for way too long. And I never want to hear the word “sweater” again.

This podcast is an example of how the podcast genre has evolved into its own art form. It’s witty, thought provoking, sexy and cuts gut wrenchingly close to the bone. I enjoyed every moment, well done to all involved, encore.

Wow. Yeah, this is hella good. Heartfelt and super relatable as a 20-something queer artist living in the city. It’s kind of terrifying how accurately believable the emotion is, the voice actors alone are amazing. I just finished episode 6 and barely know where to begin. the best script and voice acting of any podcast in its field.
