“I really enjoyed this when it was monthly and part of the main podcast. This iteration feels in its early days and that they’re still developing the concept. The book reviews can be a bit of an echo chamber at times. Just be aware to keep up with the books prior to listening as the book reviews cover the whole plot and ending. The book scandal episodes have a lovely host and are well researched.”

“The descriptions and analysis are always so educated and interesting and well informed. But as is consistent throughout Everybody Has A secret as well, the incessant inside jokes, giggling and forced laughing not being edited out is so unpleasant and jarring.”

“I would expect the bare minimum preparation is to read the book you are discussing the adaption of, no? And basing judgements on the book without finishing it feels unfair. Also please edit out the constant giggling, it’s hard to listen to”
