Honestly, Zara and Michelle need to just do all their podcasts. The premise for this is great but the young girls are always laughing, eilish has the lost strange high pitch scripted voice and it all is unbearable to listen to.

Another epic podcast by Shameless Media group. I have been loving all of the new series within this podcast show from the intimate discussions with authors, stranger than fiction and now Tastemakers. I can always find something new and interesting here and love keeping up with the monthly book...Read full review »

I would expect the bare minimum preparation is to read the book you are discussing the adaption of, no? And basing judgements on the book without finishing it feels unfair. Also please edit out the constant giggling, it’s hard to listen to

Shameless is such a basic podcast, look elsewhere if you want engaged, educated reviews of pop culture. The recent ‘tastemakers’ series is particularly terrible. As far as I can work out, the only criteria guests need to meet is that they’ve read a book (maybe) once.

Love shameless book club however the book picks this year have not been it.

A little gem of a fitness podcast that will make you want to get your backside off the couch and put down that piece of chocolate. Stella and Garry are great hosts - extremely knowledgeable, relatable and funny. Highly recommend!

As a Shameless fan girl whose new year resolution was to read more, I cannot thank you enough for this podcast. I help take care of my sick father and reading has now become my escape from reality. I get SO pumped to read the books you review so I can sit and listen to the podcast afterwards. I...Read full review »

Like to listen to this show. It has good, interesting content and guests but I struggle with the constant giggling from the hosts, especially the most recent episode. Really detracts from the rest of the episode.

I am a former avid Shameless listener, but after the podcast became riddled with inside jokes I found it hard to keep listening and stay engaged. Fast forward 2 years of not listening, I decided to give the Boy Swallows adaptation episode a go because I’m a huge Dalton fan and couldn’t wait to...Read full review »

Love the screen vs book reviews but please stop screaming over the top of each other, hard to listen.

The descriptions and analysis are always so educated and interesting and well informed. But as is consistent throughout Everybody Has A secret as well, the incessant inside jokes, giggling and forced laughing not being edited out is so unpleasant and jarring.

I really enjoyed this when it was monthly and part of the main podcast. This iteration feels in its early days and that they’re still developing the concept. The book reviews can be a bit of an echo chamber at times. Just be aware to keep up with the books prior to listening as the book reviews...Read full review »

The Shameless Book Club was one of the key reasons I got back into reading in 2022 (51 whole books! Slay!) and I’m absolutely loving this new format with more eps, interviews and wholesome book based goodness! Keep it up ladies 💪

This is such a lovely, warm, cosy corner of the podcast world and I love it. Such a good and innovative variation of content, love the wild stories about authors, love book reviews and the author interviews.

Love this podcast — such a fun one to listen to after reading a book. Also motivating me to reward a bit more! P.S. You guys should review The Appeal by Janice Hallet. It has such an interesting innovative concept where you get to solve the mystery yourself.

I’ve loved the first two episodes, the only reason this is 4 and not 5 stars is I want this weekly. Need it in my life!

Loved your first ep ladies! I attempted to read this book years ago when it was hyped up not that long after it came out, but it was so grim, and i was more turned off by the macho-ness of it all and then how literally unreal it seemed! (Didn’t get through it) I remember seeing the episode Oprah...Read full review »
