Interesting, informative resource
While these podcasts are in no way a replacement for formal backcountry courses (WFR, AIARE, etc.), they are excellent ways to keep your mind thinking about backcountry emergency scenarios when you aren't in them. All of these podcasts so far (I'm through the first 20 as of the writing of this review) are well produced, engaging stories that are not far from the realm of possibility for most weekend warriors and full-time dirtbags alike. I look forward to these episodes showing up in my Podcast feed each month or so more than any other. The only thing I wish is that they came more frequently. If you haven't tried The Sharp End yet, you are truly missing out on one of the more important podcasts for those who adventure in the backcountry.Read full review »
