Bad voice acting
I unfortunately can not make it past the tenth episode due to not being able to tolerate the bad voice acting. Detective Bailey is an okay voice actor, but the others, even Anna are hard to listen to. I feel like I’m just listening to an audiobook. It makes the story very boring. I made it this far because I was actually interested in finding out what happens with Anna, but I just can’t get past the bad acting. I have listened to tons of fiction podcasts, so maybe my expectations are just too high.

Oh my god! I just came across this podcast. I screamed when they mentioned The Mysteries of Udolpho. I wrote my Masters Thesis over this novel!!
