“I was initially unsure of the story when I first listened to the teaser but after finishing I am in Eskew I decided to give it a shot. The world is complicated and fascinating, like what our world may have been if gods made themselves known and had an active hand in our lives. A beautiful horror-filled reality that acts as commentary for a lot of modern problems. The story and performances are amazing both of the actors for the leads give nuanced performances which made the world they describe to us appear clearer in my mind. Each of the other actors are brilliant and give a different perspective on this nightmarish world. I especially want to mention the actors for Hayward and Paige. There is never a moment of wasted space. The commentaries on tradition, religion, family trauma, and fundamentalism really invested me in the lives of each of the characters. I am amazed and in awe of the creative talents of each person involved with Silt Verses. My favorite moment will always be the next one.”
