Remember seeing that Star Destroyer fly overhead on the big screen for the first time? Those were happy days.
And remember hanging out with your mates playing Star Wars video games years before the internet? Those were happy days.
And remember when Fonzie jumped all those garbage cans in front of Al's Diner on his motorbike? That was Happy Days.
The torch of fandom has been passed to a younger generation and it has been grasped confidently and with pride. We can rest easy knowing young fans like Ash and Ben will be just as good a Star Wars fan as us old guys are, if not better. For they entered a world where Jar Jar Binks was their favourite, a CGI Yoda seemed normal and Gran's were the coolest species ever.
Live long as prosper, guys, because I aint afraid of no ghosts.
