I've found the missing podcast in my rotation
This pod is insightful, informative, and passionately delivered. As a manager at a food co op I've been lucky enough to try many varities of chocolate, but have just recently started exploring the world of all the different craft chocolate that are out there. After reading her book "Bread, Wine, and Chocolate: The Slow Loss of the Foods We Love," and seeing her speak here in Asheville last year, it inspired me to learn more about biodeversity in farming, and get more into the complexities of chocolate, everything from the taste, texture and flavor notes, to where the cacao is coming from and who farms it. This pod will for sure be my next step into knowing more about all of these things. I highly recommend the book and very much look forward to more episodes of The Slow Melt.Read full review »
