I am not a social worker but I am a mental health advocate and author. So I listen to learn more and this podcast never disappoints. Better yet I can share episodes that help others. So many episodes help in everyday relationships because you have a better understanding of human behavior

Hello, I am a social worker in Michigan, and I like the show. It has been helpful in various ways for lots of projects and professional dillemas. My issue is a lack of feminist theory, focus of people of color, specifically working with African Americans in the US, and shows on working with men....Read full review »

Dr. Singer has a “warm while informed” approach to every interview and the experts he engages in this podcast. His ability to dive deep into issues in 30 minutes is fantastic. I just finished the 3 part series on the code of ethics and I now recommend this series to my students.

Jonathan Singer is an engaging voice in what are often difficult subjects - to address and to hear. However, he approaches them with empathy and compassion, bringing insights and world-class guests in to shine light on bits of our darkness. There are nuggets anyone can use in every episode. It’s all the things you want to expand your practice and mind and get support and learning. Loved the most recent episode on “under pressure”, in particular. But really enjoy expanding my sphere and developing knowledge about areas of social work that I don’t currently work in
