“I strongly recommend the Social Work podcast for social work students, faculty, or for a general audience interested in learning more about the social work profession. As an instructor, I use the Social Work podcasts as a tool to reinforce classroom learning and have assigned podcasts as required content for some of my MSW courses. However, as a social worker interested in continuing to develop professionally, I have also used the Social Work Podcast to enhance my own learning and strengthen my skills in areas where I have less direct practice experience. I have worked my way through about half of the episodes and find Jonathan Singer to be a very skilled interviewer who is able to take complex subjects and make them very approachable. I am always looking at new ways to engage students in learning and have found the Social Work podcast to be an excellent way to use technology to reinforce classroom content.
