“Great pod for anyone interested in Spanish football. You get all the information presented in an interesting and fun way, without the blatant bias that characterises Spanish media reporting. I've listened to a bunch of Spanish language podcast and inevitably got annoyed by how one sided most of them were. This one is different. Sid's opinions are well founded and he never makes a statement without backing it up or qualifying it. After listening to the audio book version of "fear and loathing in La Liga" I've come to rely on his voice to explain all things Spanish football to me and I've not regretted it once. Phil is a great host and usually brings the pod back on track if it goes off on a tangent. Sometimes would be nice to explain certain references or debates a bit more clearly as a lot gets lost in the media with the excessive focus on Barca/Madrid. For those who enjoy sophisticated, classy humour I do not recommend the "crap Spanish joke section". I however enjoy it immensely. Keep up the great work!”Read full review »
