“I was a lonely Night Elf Hunter who decided to Play The Game long after all his real life friends found other things in RL to do. I had never played an MMORPG before and was somewhat taken aback at how easy WoW was to play yet at the same time it wasn't teaching me anything about playing the game. I looked everywhere online for something to help ME with anything any noob would have questions about. Asking for help in-game was a horrible experience. I was about to cancel my five-week old account when I decided to look for podcasts that catered to someone like me. This was among the four or five I subscribed to, mostly because The Starting Zone was still in it's infancy (five or so episodes in?) and I could get them out of the way before tackling the others. I listened to those five, then six and seven episodes like I was hearing a choir of Seraphim; this was exactly what I needed. The useful knowledge that Jesse and Mick drop is astounding without being patronizing. Even if they use terms that I don't understand, they're still succinct enough to let me search for "whatever" if they don't explain what they were saying. My searching for "whatever" has been less than 10% of the time.
I really don't know what else to say. This podcast has made me love this game. The guests they've had on have been absolutley stellar in regards to the Class series and how to use the Auction House. Rolling a new toon and joining the Ministry of Truth has been everything I could have wanted in a Guild (especially after the train wreck of my other Guild time) and game experience. Thank you, Jesse and Mick. Keep up the great work!
