I decided to listen to all of the released episodes first before commenting Good Points 1. The approach is interesting - I have an interest in the genre but I'm encountering films I've never heard of before. There are a couple of podcasts that deal with the banned list but this collection of also-rans is shaping up to be a revelation. 2. Good production values - there's nothing worse than a podcast that sounds as if it has been recorded in a toilet. 3. The hosts thankfully contextualise the films so that you can an idea of where they fit in with the overall heoritage of the genre. 4. The hosts have interesting things to say about these movies - which is why I listen to podcasts. It's two people who have a love of the subject but who are still capable of discriminating the good stuff from the tat. Bad point 1. The humour can be a bit juvenile (well, Gore Boy to be exact) - However the lapses are infrequent and don't detract from the finished article.Read full review »
