“This years incarnation of the Superfooty Podcast is confusing and ultimatley, disappointing. There are too many ego's fighting to be heard. The production and editting is poor as is the sound quality.
The purpose of the podcast also seems confused at what it is trying to achieve. Is it about reviewing the previous round and providing insight, opinions and views on the results? Is it about interviewing past players? It is about trying to break news? What either it is, it doesn't do any justice to either segement. it's also far too scripted and feels contrived to some degree. It would also be great if Robbo could tone down the role of being Essendon's pseudo PR deptatement. John Anderson skills and ability to tell a story is lost in this podcast. Give him a chance to speak! And, by the time the podcast drops on Tuesday, people are moving on to the next round....drop it on a Monday please!
On a postive, it is pretty evident that Lauren is developing into and will be a great anchor and presenter.
Last years podcast stood out because it was sharp, concise and opinonated and covered all games in 20/25mins. it doesn't anymore. Now, I might have to listen to the Age Realfooty podcast....”Read full review »
