“Hedley !!! the RC into CSA DID investigate all institutions including the public school system. This is a factual error. Please update your podcast. Also the RC was not occurring at the time of your original podcast. It had concluded by then. Please check your facts. Public Hearings were conducted on institutions where numerous ppl came forward and reports were made to indicate clear institutional cover up and massive failures occurred - this means one of two things that not enough students of the northern beaches reported to the RC at the time or that if they did the RC did not have enough evidence to run public hearings. The cost of the RC was huge and they had to cover so many massive failures mainly with the Catholic Church, private educational bodies and institutions like the Salvation Army, scouts etc - they had to choose where to focus to bring light into issues. Please read the report that was released- your reporting of this is misleading and disappointing to all of us who worked and still work so hard for victims”
