The work this team is doing is amazing! I think that Chris Dawson has been living this lie for so long now, that he actually believes himself. He thinks he’s done nothing wrong. I’m also convinced that his twin brother Paul knows where Lyn’s body is. The entitlement of these 2 brothers is...Read full review »

Thank you so much for continuing to get voice to those who need it, and show up behaviours for what they are. I found AB’s first contact with Chris Dawson chilling - showing her the topless photo that was doing the rounds at school. Any male teacher concerned or even thinking that AB should...Read full review »

Initial series is great! Host def had their mind made up from the beginning, but turns out they were correct… But your really milking this for all it’s worth now… “next week we’re gonna interview the janitor who cleaned at the abc who must have overheard some phone calls”

Brilliantly done! Episodes go for the right amount of time! Keep up the amazing work!!

Absolutely fabulous. What a team - what a podcast !! Makes me cringe to hear AB refer to herself and friends as the cool group and can’t help but think that the attention from her teacher may have been flattering at the time. Preceded by turbulence in our home, My parents separated when I was 15...Read full review »

I am a newbie to podcasts, I listened to Shandee’s story (I highly recommend). I couldn’t believe how compelling this story was. I binged every single episode for weeks on end. I am so glad that justice was finally done and these families can find peace and comfort.

The Teachers Pet brought to a wider public the circumstances around Lyn Dawson’s disappearance. And fortunately with current understandings of family violence in all it’s forms, of child protection, and of narcissistic entitlement, attitudes have changed and Lynnette’s plight is not brushed aside...Read full review »

Outstanding podcast, I wish more podcasts were this well written and presented. Fantastic team of hosts, Hedley of course but I am now the hugest fan of David Murray, your writing is so eloquent and intelligent. Congratulations team for a wonderful job.

Hedley !!! the RC into CSA DID investigate all institutions including the public school system. This is a factual error. Please update your podcast. Also the RC was not occurring at the time of your original podcast. It had concluded by then. Please check your facts. Public Hearings were...Read full review »

A great example of investigative journalism. You’ve all made a powerful difference, getting justice for exploited women.

The podcast is very detailed but after a while it gets very tedious. They keep recounting and rehashing all the events that were presented in previous episodes… and then there is endless speculation. Also, why do they refer to JC as AB now? A dimple google search of the abuser will reveal the...Read full review »

Great Podcast! I’m so glad you are covering this. One criticism only and that is the title. The word accuser is not appropriate. “This began with sexual violence & Michael Jackson’s case. His crisis management team used it to sew a seed of doubt. We don’t use this loaded term for any other...Read full review »

Unfortunately the latest iteration has lost the magic of The Teacher’s Pet. Drags on with irrelevant information and it’s quite boring to be honest. A lot to be missed!

I loved Teachers Pet and really didn’t mind the repetition that others noted in that podcast but I am struggling with how much THIS podcast borrows and repeats information from the original. A very overdrawn podcast. I could only force myself to listen to 8 episodes and I had to give it up. Overcooked this with too much drivel.

Both ‘Pet and Trial’ were brilliant. Just sorry to finish them. What a great result. Well done everyone in the team.

Good podcast but just like Lindy Chamberlain this was trial by media. If there are court cases pending there should be no podcasts. Also the journalists were EXTREMELY biased. Whatever happened to pure objectivity?

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the podcast having followed the trial closely and having attended some afternoon court sessions. Thank you all for your hard work, persistence and resilience in helping to bring Lyn and her family some peace. An amazing podcast, along with The Teacher’s Pet that must make you so proud. My only hope is that Dawson will tell Lyn’s family where she is…but I’m not holding my breath.

The bias in the Teacher’s Pet was completely understandable, especially given it was agenda driven… raise the profile of the case and generate leads/publicity to bring it to trial. Having achieved this, I hoped for a more balanced podcast, recounting the facts of the trial. The Teacher’s Trial...Read full review »

Huge fan of TP and TT podcasts. Best listening ever. BUT: the terribly uneven volume in this episode made it almost impossible to follow. Such a disappointment because your analyses are clever and thoughtful. Please continue producing your usually high standard of episodes. Kitty from Canada 🇨🇦

Very repetitive, if there is no new information to dissect (such as when waiting for the verdict), don’t make new episodes.
