“I've been following Matt Whitman for a number of years on YouTube. I am thrilled that he has taken up podcasting to further his reach. I fully believe that if you want to understand scripture on more than just a rudimentary level, you should put yourself in the position of the Bible's earliest audiences. You need to know the back story, the historical context and cultural influences that these readers faced. Matt does an excellent job of setting the "stage and scenery," which brings a whole new level of understanding and enrichment to each passage he covers.
