“If you don't have time to listen to other rugby pods, go for this. Strategically recorded towards the end of the week so the guys can rob opinions and comments from other podcasts rather than have their own thoughts. Highlight is whining Alan for no other reason than he seems to have a clothes peg constantly on his nose and "tries" to be controversial. However, gets me to the station.
UPDATE: much better this week. Really good opinions. Also, the podcast without Alan would be like Queen without Freddie Mercury or AC/DC without Brian Johnson. Skipped to the station. Only downer was the suspicion I was Stephen Jones.
UPDATED NOV17: like a cheese. Improves with age but hasn’t got to the mouldy stage yet. Yup, someone else mentioned Alan’s difficulty with Leone Nakarawa pronunciation. Still can’t work out whether he says Zander Fagerson or Ferguson so it’s a bit like an informative puzzle pod. Very unique!! A wee bit lazy not to have one this week though boys. Has the new Edinburgh Rugby culture hit you and you faced a one week ban for being naughty. Snort it out.”Read full review »

“In a world where Britain apparently consists of England, Wales, Ireland and Stuart Hogg, it's rare to see someone give Scottish rugby the attention it deserves. Brilliant analysis, look forward to it each week.”Read full review »

“....give a damn about sound quality! Hear Alan's nasal whining in crystal clear audio and comments on high school rugby from yesteryear with distinct clarity. The boys do a cracking job of lifting spirits by taking the p@ss with scant regard to reputation or impact to future careers. Keep up...”Read full review »
