Less an interview, more just sitting in on a conversation between successful friends
I listened to the chat between Kevin Rose & Tim Ferriss. Great stuff, great content. What was most interesting was that it was more like just sitting at a table at happy hour with these two remarkable friends and eavesdropping on their conversation. Far more interesting than a typical interview. While I don't personally know Tim, I can say this with conviction as I had the serendipitous opportunity to have cocktails with him and a few of his contemporaries late night at a conference in Toronto. Not knowing anyone at the table, I was kind of a fly in the wall just soaking up the conversation and the experience. Tim was only one of a handful of brand names at the table. Fascinating evening, and Tim graciously picked up the tab, which I never properly thanked him for. This interview reminded me a lot of that chat among contemporaries over drinks, with just a little more structure and direction, which I think makes for fascinating listening. The trick might be to repeat, maybe it has to be simply a conversation between two contemporaries. If you can achieve that, you have something rather new & fascinating.Read full review »

Really enjoyed it Tim. Maybe a little less of the breakfast cereal type questions and more business stories. Love the organic conversations of JRE, just go with the flow
