Late observations for the critics
LA Times promised to change their focus, presentations and availability to Angelenos. This daily is a perfect example of something different from the overly polished sanitized dailies some folks prefer. So if you hate on this host, listen to any other podcasts you want. If you aren’t familiar with the host, that says a lot about you, since he has been an omnipresent voice in SoCal for a couple of decades, has a national fan base of smarty pants readers, is a sharp, sassy observer of current events, cultural history and change, and a heartfelt empathy for the human condition. LA Times has faith in him. Good on them.
