Jumped the orc.
The milking of the subject matter has reached beyond ridiculous levels at this point. 2 plus years to cover book 1 of Fellowship Of The Ring. At this rate, expect LOTR exploration to culminate no sooner than 2030. The LOTRO babble at the end of each episode is both pointless and annoying. Silmfilm is another painful exercise, wherein the participants envision what would surely be a 200 hour long film adaptation of The Silmarillion.

More reviews of The Tolkien Professor
Wanted to learn more about the LOTR universe and found this podcast. Corey’s humor and ability to explain concepts well have made powering through 90+, 2+ hours long episodes in a short amount of time enjoyable. Keep it coming!

How does a podcast that has existed for over ten years less than 150 reviews? I used to have a lot of respect fo Corey Olson but the more I see of what he’s said and the past year or so, I’ve lest it all.

“Other Minds and Hands” should be so boring. Can’t quite figure out why it isn’t.
