“As a section hiker, I feel fortunate when I can get out on the trail for a week or two. I think that one of the things that draws me to the wilderness is the sense of community that exists on the AT (and I'm sure other LDTs). Even though you may be hiking with a group or groups for only a short period, I am always joyed at how accepting and caring most thru hikers are. The trail community is wonderful to experience.
The Trail Show gives me that same sense of community and belonging that you get out on the trail.
