UPDATE 2024: New music as of Oct 2024. Thank you! I just had to ff the other music. Voice is so much better without the high pitching. Always well researched. Solid 4.5! UPDATE 2022: I’m now 23 episodes deep and he has definitely improved the pitch and cadence of his voice....Read full review »

I enjoy the opinion and analysis at the end of each episode. I saw a previous review regarding racism. Describing a person characteristics that is relevant to a story isn’t racism in this specific podcast. The intent is not to be hurtful.

This program is very well researched and the content is very informative. The cherry on top is it’s all delivered by Twinkles the Clown!!!

Absolutely love the show. I’ve been listening for years. It’s done with dignity and respect to victims and their families. Robin’s research is done, and his delivery is direct. I respect the lack of banter. Keep it up!

I came across your podcast a couple years ago. Listening to your true crime podcast found some new old crimes that went cold. I wish that they would find some of these missing people. Highly recommended this podcast.

One of the best true crime podcasts currently available. Robin does his research, and always blends the facts into an engaging narrative. I have been listening for more than seven years, and have been continually impressed. You don’t want to miss this one!

Hi there I am really enjoying your work, but I absolutely cannot stand the music break in between your show. Sorry don’t mean to be rude, Sincerely your fan

Love the podcast and honestly Robin is fantastic. Doesn’t speak too slow so that I don’t get bored but not too fast to lose info. Great voice and easy to listen to. Keep it up!

Every time a victim is black he has to point it out in the beginning. If a suspect is black he has to voice it. He doesn’t do this for white people. Be smart. Do better. Oh and I do like your voice. Don’t listen to those weirdos

This is a great one! Good job!

This is a great podcast! Robin does very thorough research and is very victim centered. His compassion towards victims and their family members is so touching. Sometimes, in covering true crimes, you have to discuss difficult topics, but Robin always handles it with compassion and a desire to...Read full review »

Really great podcast - highly recommend. Robin is a great host and I don’t understand the negative comments about his voice - it’s perfect for the show and he’s a great storyteller- people need to lighten up!

These stories are told by a true story teller! I appreciate that his approach is to see all sides and angles of possible outcomes and suspects.

Brad was Brazen! Definitely a salesman who is still selling his story. Also if it wasn’t just for the money, them why sue? He had plenty. I’m sure the most of us have had someone look us in the eye to proclaim their innocence. And there are the key words, he surrounded his self with only...Read full review »

I think for the most part it’s pretty well researched, but I’ll be honest his voice can get a little tiring. I mean if you want to fall asleep, that would be perfect. He should switch to nighttime readings to help you fall asleep, and I would definitely listen. I don’t listen to him when I’m...Read full review »

His voice makes a human’s ear bleed. Holy cow. Who is encouraging this guy to make podcasts? For Seinfeld fans, he has the exact same voice as the Rabbi who tried to hit on Elaine. Only worse. And the actor playing the Rabbi was playing it for laughs. Robin is serious. Can’t do it. I switched to...Read full review »

I’ve tried this podcast twice but can’t get past the strange cadence with which the host delivers the stories.

It’s great but you definitely need a better microphone it’s better to have soft and normal voice but it sounds like it’s kinda robotic and bad audio. Love it tho!

Can’t help thinking the narrator sounds like Kermit the frog… still quite entertaining

Found this podcast after watching reruns of Unsolved Mysteries. Podcaster offered more info than UM and had obviously done quite a bit of research. Message boards rabbit holes, anyone? Thoughtful and calm narration. New follower!

Interesting cases. But voice coaching needed. The sing- song character and some squeaking with high tones is distracting.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for awhile and I think it’s well put together. I’m amazed at how many cold cases there are out there and that they’re not forgotten because of podcasts like this one. I enjoy listening to Robin’s ideas and opinions and i think he does it in a way that’s...Read full review »

I randomly binge a few episodes of this pod every several months. I usually like the cases covered, and I think the host cares about accurate reporting although he tends to omit known, relevant details. He also says things that hurt his credibility and/or general knowledge about which he speaks....Read full review »

I'd found this podcast a few years ago and while I really think the research and writing are solid, I just cannot get past the host's voice and delivery. There's bizarrely fluctuating and delivered high notes that are almost a squeal of excitement. There's a cadence that's...Read full review »

Came back hoping some of the constructive criticism had at least been appreciated & changes made accordingly, that is not the case. Come on! Robin needs vocal coaching or just a new host, it’s still unbearable. I tried.

I like the show and the format even if I disagree with Robin’s opinions on cases sometimes. I’m a long time listener and will continue to listen for as long as Robin produces episodes. But why does Sean sound like a kidnapper calling to ask for ransom! I must listen to his podcast to find out more about this voice 🤣🤣

The show is well researched, but he HAS to find a replacement narrator. He must hear this constructive criticism often. I’m not typically sensitive to voices and sound, but I cannot listen anymore.

It seems wrong to call a TC podcast enjoyable, but that’s how I feel. Robin does a lot of research and I especially appreciate hearing the stuff that Unsolved Mysteries left out or got wrong.
