“I’m really struggling with the tone and structure of this podcast. It’s lacking the nuance, writing and empathy of S-Town. Brian also seems angry and snide. Kind of not surprised other civil servants would want to avoid him. I also don’t particularly want to follow a journalism student around for hours and hours. Maybe this should have been a single episode—or even a shorter segment.”
