“Obviously the show is great and most of us here are here to learn more about it. The podcast does include some snippets about the show and some background but at least for me its definitely not enough. The majority of the story of what we know is not discussed and glossed over. I appreciate learning about the community the story is based on and the background of these communities but the show and the real life community, to me are two very different things. How about a shout out to learn more about these communities and how they are affected by climate change, industry and culture to another podcast? For a 30 minute show it does zero justice to True Detective or the community and it does not provide enough information for either topic. The podcast for True Detective is a huge miss but if you want to learn more about Alaska the community the show is based on and about how climate change affect the real life region then it’s sorely lacking in information for the time allotted”
