“I just listen to the 2nd episode podcast. The knowledge of the actors and the real life characters that inspired them brings a whole new universe of perspective to the show. The fact that Navarro is based on the first ever native Alaskan state trooper seems unreal. The interview with the real first ever female native Alaskan state trooper shows how connected this fictional show is to life. This interview changed my personal perspective on how it is that a minority member can work towards aiding members of that same minority within the boundaries that are allowed and the importance of it. This is a real life experience of a change in my mental philosophy that I went trough 20 min ago just from listening to this podcast about a fictional murder mystery. This change in philosophy was so powerful and needed in this moment of my life that it brought me to tears to the realization that I must do what I can within the boundaries of my situation and I thank all of you for having made the thorough work of connecting fiction to life. If I hadn’t listened to this podcast I would of never heard the experience of this real life first of her kind state trooper and how she was there for her people. Thank you.”
