No words
How on earth did this event make it to an inquest? Its as plain as the nose on your face. Shame on the attending detectives for their disinterest and for the decision not to bring forensics in. A simple background check on Amy’s partner, who I imagine was very well known to police anyway, would have sent the alarm bells ringing. I thought bungles like this had been left in the past, it seems not. Good on the team for bringing this case into the light….i hope Amy and her family will see justice one day due to your investigation and lock up the person responsible and those who’ve lied to protect him. Who is protecting simmo?

More reviews of The Truth About Amy
The torture and trauma inflicted on this family by the WA Police is utterly disgraceful and unforgivable! Awesome work Channel 7!

Great podcast. I’m really enjoying it very much but please stop saying “committed” suicide! In mental health we do not use this terminology any more as it implies a “criminal” offence! We say that someone has “suicided” or “taken their life”

I saw a doco about Amy’s death many years ago and it has always stuck with me. The botched “investigation” was an absolute joke and Amy deserved better. Hopefully this well made podcast will bring about a break in the case.
