Story great: narration infuriating
This is a compelling story. However, I wish the dead air between narrated sentences was edited out and both narrators could be less stilted and contrived and more natural. They need to be played at 1.5 to be actually be able to follow what they’re saying. The sound effects during the narrated bits are so cringe: school bell, baby crying… too much! Makes me appreciate Hadley Thomas even more!

More reviews of The Truth About Amy
The narrator is terrible. Sounds like AI reading to us. Think you could of done better

If this podcast helps to realise justice for Amy that’s all we can hope for. As a listen, it can drag a bit and get bogged down. Liam Bartlett is stilted and and his jerky delivery is grating at times. The big picture story will leave you shaking your head and demanding change.

I am no investigator and yet even to me listening to what Amy did in the final hour of her life with her children & the promise to watch a movie that night it’s so clear Amy didn’t take her own life.
