Wouldn't hang my hat on it
This guy does a great job making it interesting; a lot like the Cramer of personal finance. (Just take it with a grain of salt) too bad he he is full of you know what. He uses the show to promote himself and his firm which bears his name and charges as much as a whopping 2%. In the world of so-called fiduciaries, I wonder if the consumer will ever understand why he seems to be regarded as the Darth Vader of the industry. Over the years, the radio show has evolved. From active to passive overnight was a perfect 180. The one problem is that he occasionally he makes mistakes and insists he is right. For example, I remember one caller saying he does cash-secured options in an IRA and Rick said adamantly that this was not legal or possible or something. Obviously, he was incorrect, but he fought like a honey badger. Kind of hilarious. Anyways, pretty funny guy though!

Your advice is good for all the people who will never listen to the show. Those who will need something far more sophisticated.
