He is worth the listen. Fun, entertaining, a real treat when Mark joins him. I started listening to Tully on the Ellis show on Sirius. When that ended I cancelled serious, I followed them to podcasting. I eventually lost interest, I wanted more Tully, less Ellis. This show is great. I love...Read full review »

I cannot believe how good this show is. Tully is absolutely seamless with his facts while intertwining bands, eras and time stamps on music eras. The amount of amazing info I get from this is a true treat!!!!

Tully always knows how to tell the story. Whether it’s the top hits of the era or a great article or book. Good interview and love listening to and hearing what’s next

Always enjoyed Tully’s interview skills and dry humor. My favorite part of Jason Ellis is his side comments. Tully Time, his new venture is delightful. It feels like being in a conversation with a friend who spends time finding the most fun stories. Can not recommend enough. He also does an...Read full review »

Mike Tully had to work with within the confines of the Jason Ellis show in many respects and I always wanted to hear him take a deeper dive into some of those subjects. This podcast is such a good platform for that, the diversity of guests’ backgrounds is impressive and keeps the show fresh. I...Read full review »

I came to this show from the Jason Ellis show, but I love Mikes comedy and I'd listen to him talk about literally anything. Intelligent, well prepared, very easy to listen to. I don't think I'd listen to anyone else talk about 80's music. hahaRead full review »

Perfect for people who like to do deeper dive of musical from the 80’s onward. Best episodes are with Mark McGrath, the rest are hit or miss for me.

Tully is amazingly adept at being a sensible human who interviews and converses with others, who are also mostly good humans. Both delightful and insightful, this podcast is a relaxing and informational listen. I don’t really care for the loud, cheesy podcast (former Sirius) where he supports...Read full review »

I have loved Tully for years from The Jason Ellis show but he’s really great in his own right. I especially love the music discussions with Mark McGrath but I enjoy his interviews too! Highly recommend!

Everyone has at very least met one of “those” guys. Genuinely smart, kind and interesting with a brain like a library for all of the most interesting and little known facts about…well a lot of stuff, but music in particular. He and Mark McGrath (lead singer and writer for Sugar Ray who also knows...Read full review »

I’ve always been a huge Tully fan and although I love the dynamic of Mike and Jason, I always thought a solo show would be great. This show I basically what you would want it to be. Tully takes some of his best qualities from the Ellis show. And a few angles that you don’t normally get to see and...Read full review »

This is one of the funniest, intellectual, entertaining podcasts out there. It’s so underrated and I wish Tully could have at least 2 to 3 podcast per week. Great guests too!

I really like listening to your podcast. All your guests are great but Mark McGrath and you talking music is such a good listen! I really love the longer podcasts you can do now too!

The year I was born. LOVE listening to Tully and Mark discuss the music of the year I was born that I grew up listening to with my Dad (RIP). Keep up the great work guys.

Mike Tully is silver pants wearing, hair metal impresario that leaves no stone unturned… about new releases in ‘81. And when Mr Mark McGrath gets on board, hold on for some obscure band references fast and furious, just the way I like it.

Great conversations, great guests and sometimes Mark McGrath. I have been listening to Mike Tully for what seems like forever now and he always seems to do his homework and is well prepared for his podcast. I love to hear everything he has. Please take the time and listen to this podcast.

Another great episode with special guest David Sirota. I enjoy how Tully gets in depth with his interest and strays from the path most of us be knows him for. Keep at it, Sir

The glue that holds the Ellis Show together, Mike Tully is by far the smartest man in the room. Give his Patreon a subscribe as well, I think his best content lives on that platform. Educated, experienced and a bit off-kilter, Tully's opinion on music and world events is one I hold very highly.Read full review »

Tully has a great way with people, is well informed on tons of subjects all while managing to be incredibly funny while looking at all sides of an issue (one of my favorite things him).
