“Fond memories of Twilight Zone, so found this podcast in a search. I have to admit that I was weary as it is not a podcast of actual stories and it is done by a scouser (sorry, I say that as an ex-scouser, our accents do not always lend to good listening!). Well I gave it a try, wow. . . ! The guy who does it has some of Sterling intros, the music and parts of story with an analysis of plot etc. You might think that you need to watch the old shows and then listen to the relevant podcast covering that show. Absolutely not so, Tom Elliot has an amazing style – he has done plenty of research, but it is not presented in a forceful or academic style. It is friendly, interesting and clearly from someone who is passionate. That passion comes through in content. Tom expresses opinions with an awareness that others may differ. Very much a helpful hand to take you through episodes giving interesting insights. Admits when info not known and provides areas to dig further if you want to. If you like Twilight Zone, my opinion is that Tom has a perfect style in delivering the interesting information. If you don’t like or don't know the show, listen anyway, you may find yourself converted! I am quickly catching up on historical podcasts. Fascinating podcast of just the right length of c20 minutes each. As fascinating as many of the Twilight Zone episodes!”Read full review »
