My Introduction to D&D and one of the best stories out there
I stumbled across The Unexpectables from Takahaka101's YouTube channel which posted recordings of their Twitch stream from the night before. I didn't know anything about the game itself but I am a huge fan of fantasy stories. I listened to it in the background and really enjoyed it. The first few episodes made me laugh and smile all day. Then as we got to know more about the group itself, something happened. I became emotionally attached to them. When they cried, I cried. When they had had enough, so had I. There are so many memorable secondary characters and I can't praise @MontyGlu's writing and skills as a DM high enough. Seriously, she should go into professional writing as it's that good. Do yourself a favor and check out this show. You will not regret it.Read full review »

If you want a fun time, check out this group of unlikely heroes as they journey through the land of Avilast. Of course while episode 0 rounds up the previous two arcs, you can catch all of the sessions up to that point on Taka’s youtube channel as well.
