“Interesting trip into bizarro land. I especially enjoyed episode 4 where Matt Katz and Kai Wright go on and on with gems like: 'Right wing talk radio defames the mainstream media by accusing it of being a bunch of liberal liars. And sure, the mainstream media gets it wrong a lot, and studies I've seen show they're mostly liberal, but there is NO BASIS for their defamation, amiright?' Or, 'the Right is in an alternate reality obsessed with race [pause for commercial break] This week on Pt3 of Sporkful, we delve into how RACE affects restaraunt customers, and how people of color are racistly refused entrance into restaraunts because they aren't given subconcious signals that their RACE is welcome in. What is it like for people of color to go hungry because they can't walk into a restaraunt that doesn't expressly welcome their RACE... find out on Sporkful, a show dedicated to RACE... and food I guess... [/back to show], yeah so all the Right thinks about is race amiright?' Ok one more: 'I just don't understand the Right's claim that we harp on comments taken out of context, now here are the worst comments I could find for us to harp on.' Not for nuthin, but those were the worst clips you could find? The worst comments Matt Katz could find from Right wing talk radio make him feel only 'frankly uncomfortable?' Wow, the horror. How will you go on? For a fun drinking game, on a show ostensibly dedicated to understanding the Right, take a sip of your favorite alcohol every time Kai Wright says a version of 'I just don't understand them' directed towards anything Conservative, or even: 'white people, who seem to be doing pretty well financially' as he so eloquently generalizes. Though be sure to pre-dial 911 or you'll die of alcohol poisoning. Oh, and finally, Right wing talk radio murdered a hispanic guy with its bare hands. Yep, I was shocked too, but I guess it's true. Cause a hispanic guy got killed by a group of white guys who yelled racial epithets. Wait, waddya mean you don't follow? Isolated incident you say? Obviously not. Just look at the numbers! Obviously gangs of white youths hopped up on milquetoast Limbaugh parody songs are murdering hispanics at record numbers. Just look at the data!
