“I LOVE you guys! These podcast are my new obsession. I've always liked Damon for Elena over Stefan, but I didn't understand why until last week's episode. Elena met Stefan at 16 during the most tumultuous time of her life. He was her first love, but she was not his! Stefan is a player! He loves Katherine, he loves Rebecca, and let's face it, he loved Lexi. Who knows how many other women will pop up? He's a casanova. He gives it away and falls way too quickly. Damon has only loved two women in over 150 years, Katherine and Elena. He was willing the become a vampire for Katherine, to die for Katherine, and now (even though he denies it) he is willing to be cured for Elena. If Elena died or denied him, it would KILL Damon! He was willing to suffer in silence (most of the time) while she was with Stefan just to be near her. If anything, he is sired to her. Stefan moves on at the slightest hint of her disloyalty.
