“This podcast needs a lot of work. Specifically, the host needs a ton of work, and there are some major issues that I have with her. She is so unbelievably stiff when she speaks, making it very difficult to enjoy this podcast. She is so very obviously reading from a script, and it just sounds so forced. This host really needs to loosen up--A LOT! Like I said, she makes it very hard to listen because I'm constantly getting distracted by her monotonous reading voice. Please just take notes and go with the flow--stop writing a word-for-word script, as it's really undermining the quality of this podcast. The stories are very interesting. But her storytelling greatly takes the interesting factor out of it. She really needs to lighten up and speak more dynamically. If she does this, this podcast will be a whole lot better. I will keep listening for now since I've caught up on my favorite true crime podcasts and I need something else to listen to in between their new episodes. BUT if/when something better comes along, I'll unsubscribe and stop listening unless she changes. Please take my advice--I can't be the first to think this, and I can guarantee that I definitely won't be the last. Try to be more like Mike Boudet or the TCG guys... Or even Sarah Koenig.
