“If you're a Villa fan I can absolutely recommend this podcast. A great combination of on-topic discussion about Villa both in general and post-match with some pre-match coverage (but you need to watch the youtube pre-match reviews for more) and cheerful chater about a range of other topics which includes hair styles and bunny names.
To be fair there isn't usually too much off-topic but it doesn't detract from the show, rather it shows the friendly chemistry between presenters which is essential to making this a fun listen. I really feel like I'm listening in on a fan conversation and they work hard to not just be talking to other fans, but also to involve the Villa community and be part of the fan base.
It really helps that the podcast has a professional production quality to it making it easy to listen to. Tom gets a lot of stick for making occassional mistakes but I'm sure this is just incredible acting, playing the foil to Dan's (near) encyclopaedic knowledge of shirt numbers, and making the less die-hard Villa fan feeling like they are welcome. Similarly Tom always seems a broadcasting professional with his notes in contrast to Dan's "I just turned up without preparing" style provides a good contrasting presentation style.
Guest presenters always add something extra and contribute to the very high quality production. Keep up the good work.
