Interesting material, confusing show
I really want to like this show. The topics that are covered are crucial. But it doesn’t feel cogent. Season 1 was set up like an investigation into the murders and then it wasn’t. Switching fro Aurelia to Cassandra felt really confusing in season 2. I think the host is still green and learning how to put together a narrative that has the broader culture context and I’m excited for his next project (whatever that is) but he’s not there yet.

More reviews of The Village
Have heard great things about this podcast. But coming to it late, it’s impossible to know where to start - the episodes aren’t numbered or ordered.

I’m so glad this podcast series was produced. It offers an insightful, well researched, and utterly horrifying look into the the violence and hate that the LGBTQ+ community in Toronto has faced for many, many decades. Thanks for Justin and the team for their efforts.

I listen to a lot of podcasts ... season 1 of this was fantastic... I made it thru episode 1 here and it was ok ..it was slow...I was very interested in the subject matter but it just wasn’t keeping my interest ...
