“I really want to like this show. The topics that are covered are crucial. But it doesn’t feel cogent. Season 1 was set up like an investigation into the murders and then it wasn’t. Switching fro Aurelia to Cassandra felt really confusing in season 2. I think the host is still green and learning how to put together a narrative that has the broader culture context and I’m excited for his next project (whatever that is) but he’s not there yet.”
