“It was a blustery winters eve when I retreated from an uncharacteristically savage storm into my log cabin in rural Paraguay and fired up this podcast for the first time. I wish it had been a WW2 bunker because I was about to get hit with a cinematographical knowledge bomb that would have turned Hiroshima into Hollywood. I wasn't ready.
