A slice of life
Every few weeks or so I'll head out to a cafe, order a latte, and plug in my head phones. Through the magic of podcasting I'll be transported around the world to XX Land, so I can bathe in the political and cultural sensibilities of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Diverse this group is not. Funnier still, they don't seem to recognize it. But they're all intelligent, edgy, sincere, and frank, and that makes them among the best of the chatty podcasters. Oh yes, they also talk about issues from a woman's point of view -- well, if you're a white woman who went to a good college and works in the elite media and makes decent money -- which might sound snarky, but I meant it purely as description.Read full review »

From a British perspective: content very good but needs to be better produced. Slow down the pace don't speak over one another. I guess there is not a lot that can be done about the jarring New York, accent ( but then this is mainly for an American west coast audience )Read full review »

This is a wonderful podcast. My only complaint is that there is not a new one every week. Those reviewers who complain about people's voices or styles of speech should get over themselves and enjoy the stimulating content.
