I enjoyed listening
A smart, timely podcast with an informed discussion. Don't let the name -- XX Gabfest -- turn you off, as it almost did for me. (Good grief -- "Gabfest"?! I don't care if it's a Slate name; it has connotations!) I'm familiar with Emily's byline from Slate, so I knew I'd hear a smart discussion. The 10-minute segments are just enough time to discuss details without becoming tiresome. Maybe in the future, consider having interviews with people outside the three regulars? This is not meant to be flippant or snarky, but this podcast has become almost exclusively about pregnancy, parenting and being a working mother. Which is all fine, but the name 'Double X' denotes that it would address issues facing ALL women, not just the moms.Read full review »

I know you all work hard, but I wish you were on EVERYDAY! I love this podcast. It's smart, funny and spot on. You get a wide variety of generational perspectives, which sometimes intersect and blend, and at other times clash...which makes the podcast inventive and unpredictable. Double XORead full review »
