Please do not acknowledge the listener in this Podcasty Way, please do not call us "dear listener" and please for the love of all that is audible PLEASE EDIT and stop with this wink wink fourth wall "we're all buddies here" chit chat! It's chaff!! The vibe is irritating beyond measure. This pod is aggressively overwritten -- a drum roll? "you heard me right guys"?? We are not your, like, bestie, and it's driving me nuts. Furthermore there is no such thing as a "New England accent" just say Rhode Island accent or Boston accent. Either way the host doesn't really have an accent and he keeps adding interjections like "well" and "how do I put this" but I'll put in the work because a different con man bankrupted my dad and I need a good revenge story.
