“The format, content and premise of this podcast is fantastic. Unfortunately, it falls short because of one thing...Olly Mann. Olly hosts with an unwarranted arrogance, regularly interrupting his panelists and belittling some of the content and the people involved (disparaging comments about tree hugging in one episode comes to mind). His style is aggressive with gentle sniffs of chauvinism that make listening quite uncomfortable at times. For someone that has been hosting podcasts for however many years, as he proudly reminds the audience every episode, it’s baffling to me how he is still getting it so wrong and is still in a job. I sense the panelists’ discomfort and frustration on occasion and I sympathise with their sentiments. It must be hard to endure the “Olly show” every week. Great podcast, terrible host who needs to learn some humility.”
