Don't be fooled by the title of this podcast, even if the hosts and contributors think they're being sceptical they never venture outside of the Overton window. If I were more sceptical, I might wonder if the Daily and Weekly Sceptic were little more than an elaborate venture to promote the profiles of Toby Young and, now, Nick Dixon (who should have stuck with comedy, he's clearly talented). The giveaway is that no matter how much and how damning the evidence they cite, the conclusion is always Hanlon's razor. I suspect that promoting themselves as sceptics is more of a ruse for notoriety than a genuine attempt to tackle malfeasance but ensuring their conclusions always maintain an air of respectability for the mainstream seems to be their priority.Read full review »
