Great Episodic History
Interesting Time is a great history podcast. Most topics are one episode (a few take more than one), and while I’ve been a fan of some of the long running narrative history podcasts, I’ve found Streckert’s variety of topics to be a wonderful spice to my normal diet. The episodes are well researched and entertaining in presentation. The quality of both the audio and the content is on par with far more established shows. I started at the beginning and binge listened through, but you don’t have to do that (Although, I enjoyed doing it). Pick a topic that interests you and see what you’ve been missing! Recommendation: Episode 31, The Kingdom of North Sudan. This episode is not only interesting, but has Streckert going on a wonderfully hilarious anti-monarchy rant.

I was mostly disappointed...Read full review »

I really liked the monuments pod! You did a great job linking all the historical connotations of the monuments.
