Irritating music
I tried to listen to the programme about regrets but had to stop because of the persistent, intrusive and very distracting music. What is the point of playing music over the spoken word? I listen to hear the spoken word; I do not expect to have arrogant, manipulative, cynical programme makers trying to influence my feelings and emotions. The makers of this program need to ask themselves what is the purpose of the programme and not let anything get in between the substantive content and the listener.

I love this touching and fascinating podcast, I just wish the episodes were longer. The topics are varied and they make the smallest human story interesting- but I always want a bit more. Well worth subscribing to!

As with all BBC programs, this podcast is very professionally presented. Each week a particular facet of human biology, psychology or culture is examined and a theory presented. Not so many hard answers, but many interesting theses, conjectures and ideas presented by bona fide leaders in the field.
