Needs a little work
Guys, this had all the potentials to be a great podcast. The show it is about is incredible, some of the extra ideas like the burner phone are fun and different, and the interview subjects are spot on. What seems to be lacking is all the extra research/work surrounding the episode recap itself. I expected an indepth examination around the shows themes, details, etc. Instead it sounds like two friends talking about the episode they both just watched. Recap episodes should dive into some of the deeper meanings, relate to real life, look up statistics, become "experts" on the background of the show, the subject matter, etc. There are times when you seem to not even be able to recall a certain character's name or action. Pay attention to the closer details, make it just a tad less conversational and more analytical and you may have a much better show on your hands.Read full review »
