Love it.
I’ve been a Wirecutter fan for a long time, and I’m thrilled there is now a podcast! I love that the first show was about laundry- something everyone has to deal with. I learned a lot and also felt very savvy because I already only wash my clothes on cold (except for sterilization needs.) Maybe I’m just a product/best practices nerd, but this show hit all the right marks for me.

This felt like a throwback to the 1950s, with grown women acting like giddy giggly girls and feigning ignorance about basic knowledge, perhaps to seem more relateable. Let’s get serious, and use your listeners’ time more respectfully.

In the 1980s the powdered detergent I used in cold water clogged my main drain pipe causing a sewage back up and repair bill. Seriously awesome podcast. In this regard, but thankfully not so much otherwise, I’m a stereotypical male; I’m an idiot when it comes to laundry.
